EndNote is available for the UNMC community from the UNMC Research Information Technology Office (RITO). EndNote can be installed on your UNMC-owned or personal devices.

Starting February 12, 2026, EndNote/Clarivate will require all users to update their EndNote Online/Web passwords every 180 days. Please see the EndNote message below.

To update your password, visit the EndNote Online/web site, and click on Forgot My Password. Please note: your EndNote Online/Web password is NOT your UNMC NetID and password. This password is something that you created, and only you know.

EndNote can help make your research and writing easier:

• Group references according to your research projects and attaches files to records manually or automatically.
• Locate free full-text PDF files for you or create a reference when importing a PDF file. 
• Share groups of references with other EndNote users.
• Use Cite While You Write to add in references and citations as you write, or whenever you're ready.
• Search online databases and send references directly to EndNote.
