Graduate Student and Postdoc Library Guide

Welcome to the McGoogan Health Sciences Library at UNMC!

We provide many resources and services to help you with your studies, research, and scholarship. Tens of thousands of online journals and ebooks are available at your fingertips from anywhere. Librarians are available to guide you through this information and possess expertise in a variety of areas. This guide highlights these resources and services pertinent to the graduate student and postdoc communities. 

While most of our collections and services are accessible online, our physical space provides the UNMC community with a place for individual study, group collaboration, experimentation, and wellness.

The McGoogan Health Sciences library is located on the 6th, 7th, and 8th levels of Wittson Hall. The library space is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for UNMC students, faculty and staff, and affiliates. A UNMC badge is required to access the library.

While the study rooms are reserved for students, there are many options available for quiet study and collaboration..
