This research guide highlights information and resources that will be helpful to you as a UNMC High School Alliance student, staff, or faculty. The resources will support class projects, presentations, and career prep.
Research Help: Students can meet with a librarian one-on-one or in a small group for help with searching for information or using specific databases. Students can set up a meeting with Jess King at the link below. First select the "Education & Research Librarian Consultation" option, select Professor King's name from the dropdown list, and then select the date and time that work best for your schedule.
Library Classes: Librarians are available to teach information literacy classes to support student research projects. Topics can include any of the following: graphic medicine, history of medical ethics, topic selection, search strategies, database searching, Google searching, evaluating sources, avoiding plagiarism, formatting citations, and using citation management software.
