  • American Board of Medical Specialists  
    The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), a not-for-profit organization, assists 24 approved medical specialty boards in the development and use of standards in the ongoing evaluation and certification of physicians.
  • AAMC Housestaff Stipends, Benefits and Funding Survey  
    Contains results from the current AAMC Survey of Resident/Fellow Stipends and Benefits (formerly the AAMC Survey of Housestaff Stipends, Benefits and Funding) in addition to selected results from previous surveys. Now only available on the web.
  • ERAS  
    Electronic Residency Application Service--Through the internet, this allows one to transmit residency applications, transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc. to medical schools and residency programs.
  • "Green Book"/Freida  
    FREIDA Online is a database of the graduate medical education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, as well as combined specialty programs.
  • Medical Specialties Matching Program  
    This site is from the National Resident Matching Program and lists Rank orders, schedules of dates, match day information, how match works, etc.
  • National Resident Matching Program  
    This site is maintained by the AAMC to assist applicants in finding postgraduate medical training positions in over 3500 residency programs in the U.S. Applicants and programs evaluate and rank one another, and then applicants are paired with programs bas
  • Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program  
    An online matching system for the placement of applicants into first year dentistry residency positions in the United States.
  • Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)  
    The ECFMG assessess the readiness of international medical graduates to enter residency or fellowship programs in the United States that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
